Achievements and Progression

To clarify on my comment about achievements not being progression.

I understand that some of the achievements in game go along with progression. It is important to get the ones that go along with the progression aspect of the game. I think the main focus should be on progression since this seems to be the main struggle. When we get the 2 drakes down, then we get the achievement.. YAY. But to go in and do things a certain way for another type of achievement when we do not even have the first part down is just insane. This slows down the raids and takes focus away from the goal in point. This is called skipping the step we need before we are ready to do it. This is called not getting the skills, the ability or the knowledge to continue on so we can get the other little achievements that come. I personally do not like counting my chickens before they hatch.

So yes, achievements to a certain point are progression, but not all of them. The focus should be on the first step that will prepare us for the second step which is Greatness!!!

I completely agree that getting the progression achievements should be the focus as in kill sarth 3 drakes theres an achievement for that and so forth but all the small side ones are not progression imo and nobody should be asked to wipe and so forth for the sake of starting over to get one of the side fun achievements.

And if the direction of the guild is to be progressing not to get the bosses down but to sit there and focus solely on all the achievements in the game than i dont feel that i can raid with you any longer since i dont play the game based on how many achievement points i get i raid to down bosses and get loot i can care less about anything else. And because it seems the guild is going in a direction of achievement point over progression i think its time for me to find a new guild

you need 3 tanks for 2-3 drakes. which you didn't have last night at all.

last night was suppose to just be a break and a have fun night, which you need every once and awhile so you dont get burnt out. we would be doing maly 25 on tuesday if we had the priests for raz on wednesday.
